Dr Ashwini Balajisingh

Dr Ash completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India, in 2007. She then moved to Australia where she did her initial training at Townsville University Hospital before moving on to general practice.

After obtaining her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2016, Dr Ash worked at Lavarack Health Centre as a General Practitioner for three and half years before moving to Rosslea Medical Centre.

Dr Ash also holds a Diploma in Child health and a Diploma in obesity and weight management.

Dr Ash enjoys all aspects of General Practice with special interest in obesity management, women’s and children’s health, chronic disease management and veterans’ health.
